ADP Shows Sectors Most Impacted by April’s 20M Job Losses

Washington, DC, May 7, 2020-On May 6, ADP reported that private sector employment decreased by 20,236,000 jobs from March to April. 

Those losses were divided among the following fields:

43%–leisure and hospitality

17%–trade, transportation & utilities

12%–construction

9%–other

8%–manufacturing

6%–professional & business services

5%–education & health
