Oxford, AL, April 16, 2025-A fire broke the morning of April 15 at the Kronospan flooring plant in Oxford, Alabama.
Firefighters discovered smoke emanating from eight sawdust silos. The explosion dampers, which are designed to prevent dust explosions, were in place and functioning properly, and the blaze was extinguished.
