Pfleiderer Receives Approval for Pergo Acquisition

Neumarkt, Germany, February 2, 2007–Pfleiderer Sweden AB, a wholly owned Swedish subsidiary of the Pfleiderer AG Group, has received the required formal authorization by the German Anti-Trust Office and the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to complete the acquisition of Pergo AB.

Accordingly, no further antitrust restrictions apply in these countries to the take-over of Pergo. The approval by the Swedish Competition Authority (Konkurrensverket) is expected at the latest by February 19, 2007.
