Consumer Sentiment Unchanged in March


Ann Arbor, MI, March 26, 2010–U.S. consumer sentiment was unchanged in March, according to a survey released Friday by the University of Michigan and Reuters.

The consumer sentiment index remained at 73.6 in March, matching February’s level. In mid-March the estimate was 72.5.

Economists  were looking for a final March result of 73. The index hit a 28-year low of 55.3 in November 2008.
