Daltonian Offering Bio-Cel Cushion to Commercial M

Calhoun, GA, April 8–Daltonian Flooring has been named a supplier to the commercial market of carpet cushion underlayment made with the revolutionary, environmentally-sensitive compound, BioCel.

Daltonian Flooring will offer BioCel carpet underlayment in two weights, BioCel 150 and BioCel 250. Beyond its substantial environmental benefits, adding BioCel to commercial carpet underlayment makes a more stable product. “Daltonian has embraced BioCel underlayment as a product offering that is entirely positive, an environmental winner that is performance driven, and cost-effective,” says Daltonian Flooring vice president Gary Mauldin.

Developed by Universal Textile Technologies, the Dalton, Georgia based manufacturer of high-performance polyurethane carpet backing systems for commercial carpet, BioCel is an
award-winning combination of two green components: BioBalance polymers, which are made from soybean oil, and Celceram, a highly-refined, recovered form of the mineral lignite.
