AmericasMart Roy Award Nominations Begin

ATLANTA, June 2006–Annually during the July Atlanta International Area Rug Market, the nation’s premier area rug retailers are recognized and honored through AmericasMart’s acclaimed Rug Retailer of the Year Awards (ROY Awards).

All ROY nominees are nominated exclusively by AmericasMart area rug exhibitors and then voted on by an independent panel of industry experts.

The 13th annual ROY Awards will be held on Sunday, July 16 beginning at 6 p.m., in the Oceans Ballroom of the Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest aquarium.

The Ballroom–situated among the most spectacular and endangered sea creatures, including Beluga Whales and Whale Sharks–the largest fish in the world–will host live entertainment, a complimentary cocktail buffet and a Monte Carlo-themed casino evening. A capacity crowd is expected to attend.
