Unilin Sues Balterio for Patent Infringement

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, July 19, 2007– Unilin said that it has filed a lawsuit before the court in The Hague (The Netherlands) against the companies Balterio NV, Spanolux SA and its distributors and agent Forinn BV, Van Hardeveld Tapijt BV en Kok Houtagenturen BV.

The suit was filled on July 17.

Unilin claims that these companies infringe Unilin’s European patents that protect the technology for the glueless joining of floor panels as well as the application of certain bevels on laminate flooring.
