
St. Paul, MN, June 25, 2008–Adhesives and sealants maker H.B. Fuller Co. late Tuesday reported second-quarter net earnings of $21.4 million, or 41 cents a share.
Excluding a pair of one-time charges, the company earned 44 cents a share in the quarter.
The mean estimate of analysts was for a profit of 45 cents.
In the same period a year ago, the company posted a net profit of $27.3 million, or 44 cents a share.
Revenue in the period ended May 31 rose 1% to $356.8 million, above the $348 million analyst estimate.
