Metroflor Says It’s Suing Mannington Over Patent

Darien, CT, Oct. 8, 2008–Metroflor Corp. said that on Oct. 1 it filed a lawsuit against Mannington Mills Inc. in the U.S. District Court ffor patent infringement.

The  dispute is over a  floor plank system. Metroflor said it is the owner of the patent and is the selling agent of the Konecto line of flooring products, which are covered by the patent.

In the lawsuit, Metroflor claims that Mannington’s Adura LocnGo products infringe Metroflor’s patent. Metroflor is seeking damages and an injunction.
