Lamett Opens New Laminate Production Plant

Douglasville, GA, Dec. 10, 2008–Lamett has opened its new 2 million square foot laminate production facility as well as administration offices.

On the same site, a wood production facility was startec in July.

“Both wood and laminate products will now be produced in the same plant, allowing for a monthly production of over 10 million square feet by the end of 2009,” said President Thomas Baert.

“Our vertical integration creates economies of scale and streamlines our production process.”
