Tarkett Residential Adds New York Distributor

Farnham, Quebec, Canada,, March 10, 2009 – Tarkett Residential said it has expanded its distribution base by adding Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based Norman D. Lifton Co. as a flooring distributor in the Tri-State area.

Lifton, which has been a long-time distributor for Tarkett’s Johnsonite brand, will provide sales and service capabilities for Tarkett’s residential products, including Fiber Floor and Vinyl Sheet (felt-backed) resilient, Laminate and NAFCO flooring.

Lifton will provide services to Tarkett’s flooring retailers in the Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Southeast Pennsylvania and Delaware regions.
