New York, NY, Sept. 15, 2009–Maples Rugs has added its first recycled fiber product to its offering, using Beaulieu of America’s “Soft Green Smart” rug fiber.
The fiber, made of post-consumer recycled beverage bottles, is being used in two solid-colored rug collections, including an accent shag construction and textured kitchen styles.
The new products are similar in price to the company’s own nylon shag varieties.
