Safavieh Adds West Coast Warehouse

Port Washington, NY, March 4, 2011 — Rug firm Safavieh said it has purchased a new warehouse in Fontana, Calif. that will significantly increase the speed of drop shipments to consumers on the west coast.

The 150,000-foot warehouse gives the company a total of 1 million square feet of warehousing space across North America.
 
The move should help reduce freight costs for retailers west of the Mississippi.
