Desso Gets New Aviation Certification

Waalwijk, The Netherlands, May 12, 2011 — Desso said it has been certified to the AS 9100 Revision C by Lloyd’s Register Nederland B.V.

Desso said it is the first carpet manufacturer to have achieved this Revision C certification for the aviation industry.

The new revision C is the most stringent version and introduces additional requirements for aviation quality management systems, including new requirements for measuring customer satisfaction.

The objective of the revision is to create a more competitive and customer-centric aviation supplier industry.
