Clarion Licenses Välinge’s 5G Technology

Viken, Sweden, May 18, 2011–Clarion Laminate has decided to utilize Välinge’s 5G Side Push Technology for its laminate products.

Clarion is already a Välinge licensee of both standard locking in laminate floors and the 2G system with a hook on the short side (“Drop Loc”). The fold down installation method for the 5G side push system is similar to this 2G/hook system.

“Our goal is to provide the marketplace with products that create a higher value perception and improve the overall customer experience. We strongly believe the Valinge 5GW locking system meets that objective,” says Tony Sturrus, president Clarion Industries.
