Amsterdam, The Netherlands, March 9, 2012 — Dutch hardwood manufacturer Bolefloor is entering the U.S. market, featuring planks that have curves instead of the usual straight edges, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The products have previously only been available in Europe.
The company says that compared with traditional milling processes, the curved edges allow 20% more of each sawed plank to be used.
Bolefloor’s first U.S. manufacturing plant is in Sacramento.
