Cartersville, GA, May 14, 2012 — Aquafil’s Econyl has received certification by UL Environment for Alto Chroma Econyl solution dyed fibers made from 100% recycled polyamide 6 polymer.
Alto Chroma is a bulked continuous filament solution dyed type 6 nylon yarn.
The waste polyamide 6 can be regenerated an infinite number of times to produce new polymers with the same technical characteristics and quality as those obtained from fossil materials.
