Consumer Sentiment Hits Four-Month High

Ann Arbor, MI, Sept. 14, 2012 — Consumer sentiment jumped to 79.2 in early September from 74.3 in August, according to the Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan’s index.

That was its highest level in four months, and it beat expectations for a decline to 74.0.
