Job Openings Decline in July

Washington, DC, Sept. 10, 2013 — Non-farm job openings in July were 3.69 million, according to the latest release from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

That’s less than the June total of 3.94 million.

Data from the report show that job openings are generally on the rise, layoffs are way down, but hiring is flat.
