Businesses Add 130,000 Jobs in October

Roseland, NJ, Oct. 30, 2013 — U.S. businesses added 130,000 jobs in October, according to the ADP Employment Report.

September’s number was revised down to 145,000 from the initial 166,000 it had reported earlier this month.

The September job figures were the fewest for the survey since April. Hiring was especially sluggish among small and mid-size companies.
