Washington, DC, Feb. 19, 2014 — Producer prices rose for a second straight month in January, the Labor Department said, but inflation remained tame.
The government said on Wednesday its seasonally adjusted producer price index increased 0.2% last month, the largest increase since October.
The index has been broadened to include services and construction. It was previously known as PPI for finished goods.
