Factory Orders Rise More Than Expected

Washington, DC, April 2, 2014 — Factory orders rose 1.6 % in February, the U.S. Commerce Department said Wednesday

Economists had expected orders to rise about 1.3%.

Factory orders for January were revised lower, from a 0.7% decline to a 1% decline,

Durable goods orders rose 2.2% in February.
