Initial Jobless Claims Hold Steady Last Week

Washington, DC, Oct. 9, 2014 — Initial jobless claims held steady at 287,000 last week, according to the Labor Department.

The previous week’s report was revised higher to 288,000.

The 4-week moving average of claims fell to 287,750, down 7,250.
