Jobless Claims Tick Down Last Week

Washington, DC, Dec. 11, 2014 — Initial claims for unemployment benefits fell last week, according to the Labor Department.

Initial claims declined by 3,000 to a seasonally adjusted 294,000 for the week ended Dec.6.

The four-week moving average ticked up by 250 to 299,250.
