Wilmington, MA, March 16, 2015—Altro Safety Flooring has introduced a new adhesive-free, tape installation system for resilient flooring called Altro XpressLay, which minimizes installation downtime.
Traditional glue-down flooring typically requires the adhesive to cure overnight; however, XpressLay is ready for use on the same day.
Altro says that the system is effective on subfloors with moisture problems and can be installed without a damp-proof surface membrane.
In addition, the installation system enables reuse of the material multiple times and full recyclability at the end of product life.
