Retail Trade Sales Up 1.4% in May, 2% YOY

Washington, DC, June 11, 2015–Retail trade sales were up 1.4% in May from April and 2.0% over last year, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

Motor vehicle and parts dealers were up 8.2% from May 2014, and food services and drinking places were up 8.2 % from last year.
