
Roseland, NJ, July 7, 2016—Private sector employment increased by 172,000 jobs from May to June, according to the June ADP National Employment Report.
Small businesses added 95,000 jobs; medium businesses added 52,000 jobs, and large businesses added 25,000.
The goods-producing sector lost 36,000 jobs, while the service-producing sector added 208,000.
The construction industry lost 5,000 jobs; the manufacturing industry lost 21,000 jobs; the trade/transportation/utilities industry added 55,000 jobs; the financial activities industry added 2,000 jobs; and the professional/business services industry added 51,000 jobs.
