BASF Raising Prices in Europe for Curing Agent


Ludwigshafen, Germany, July 16, 2010–BASF is raising its prices for isophorone diamine in Europe by €200 per metric ton, or by the corresponding amount in local currency, effective immediately.

The IPDA specialty amine is used as a curing agent for epoxy resins and as an isocyanate crosslinking agent for the production of polyurethane.

BASF manufactures IPDA at its Ludwigshafen Verbund site.
