BASF Raising Prices on Styrene-Butadiene and Styrene-Acrylic Latex Polymers

Charlotte, NC, May 6, 2015—BASF will increase prices up to $0.05 per wet pound ($0.10 per dry pound) for styrene-butadiene and styrene-acrylic latex polymers sold in North America, effective May 15 or as contracts allow.

These increases come as a consequence of recent cost increases in production and delivery and will impact Acronal, Styrofan, Styronal, Butofan, and Butonal products sold into the carpet, paper, construction, fiberbonding and related industries.
