
Nancy Van Eman, Environmental & Safety Director for Beaulieu, noted that the company was up against some pretty stiff competition, with the plant’s Environmental Management Systems being scored against some of the largest companies within the state. According to Van Eman, “in the end, Beaulieu was nominated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Pollution Prevention Assistance Division.” She goes on to state “the Department was very impressed with our Royston Plant and the Environmental Management Systems we have in place and how well they perform. We were very pleased to be recognized for our corporate initiatives and for the great efforts our employees make every day to protect and improve the environment”
