BonaKemi Adds Commercial Floor Care Line

Aurora, CO, June 20, 2007–BonaKemi USA, the North American subsidiary of BonaKemi AB announced the addition of a complete Commercial floor care product line.

“Hardwood floors in malls and commercial settings are commonly treated just like the rest of the hard surface floor coverings,” said Mark Pacacha, Bona director of commercial sales. By using the wrong products, or too much water, the wood is damaged, not protected. The Bona Commercial Floor Care System enables distributors, contractors and facility managers to efficiently, reliably and effectively care for hardwood floors and thus avoid costly mistakes.

The new line includes, Bona. Commercial Hardwood Floor Cleaner, Bona. Commercial Hard Surface Floor Cleaner, Bona. Commercial Hardwood Floor Cleaner Concentrate, the Bona. Commercial Hardwood Floor Care Kit and the Bona. Commercial Hard Surface Floor Care Kit.

Bona s Commercial floor care products are designed to meet the high demands of commercial locations while continuing to be safe and environmentally responsible. Both the Commercial Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Commercial Hard Surface Cleaner are waterborne, non-toxic, and pH neutral. 

Bona s Commercial cleaners have been certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute for indoor air quality, making BonaKemi the only manufacturer in the industry to offer a fully certified, complete floor finishing and care system. And more importantly, they have passed the rigorous GREENGUARD product emission standard for Children and Schools.

The Hardwood Floor Cleaner was created to clean all types of commercial hardwood floors coated with a clear, unwaxed finish, without dulling or leaving any residue, while the Hard Surface Cleaner was created to clean all laminate flooring (such as Pergo.), vinyl, no-wax linoleum, terrazzo, unglazed tile (ceramic, Mexican Saltillo, quarry), stone and sealed porous marble. Both were designed to meet the heavy-duty floor care needs of commercial environments.

Both the Commercial Hardwood Floor Care kit and the Commercial Hard Surface Floor Care kit were designed for small- to medium-sized retail/commercial outlets that incorporate hardwood and hard surface flooring.  The WetDry Disposable Pads are ideal for outlets where laundry facilities are not available.

Kits include one quart of either Commercial Hardwood Floor Cleaner or Commercial Hard Surface Floor Cleaner, 24 Commercial Mop (base and pole), 24 WetDry Disposable Pads (25), and a hanging instruction card. The pads were specially designed to be used with Bona’s Commercial Floor Care Systems and can be used dry for daily dusting or wet with Bona Commercial Floor Cleaners.

Also part of the Commercial Floor Care System are the 24”, 36”, 48” Commercial Mop, Pad and Poles. The three sizes made to match various floors are made with heavy duty telescoping poles, and the bases are made of extruded aluminum and feature a snap lock connection to ensure ease of use. The Commercial Dusting Pads use electrostatic action to attract and lift dust, hair, microparticles and common allergens. The reusable, microfiber Commercial Cleaning Pads can be used wet or dry for effective non-toxic cleaning and are machine washable up to 300 times.
