Chicago, IL, June 29, 2012 — Chicago-area manufacturing continued to expand in June, according to ISM-Chicago.
The Chicago Purchasing Managers Index increased to 52.9% from May levels of 52.7%.
There was growth in production, a decrease in new orders and an improvement in employment.
Any reading above 50% indicates expansion.
