Chinese To Build Low-Cost Housing

Beijing, China, March 9, 2011 — The Chinese government will spend nearly $200 billion this year to build 10 million low-cost homes, according to an Associated Press report.

This year’s housing spending is part of a commitment to construct 36 million low-cost homes over the next five years.
