Consumer Confidence Declines in March

New York, NY, March 26, 2013 — Consumer confidence fell in March to a reading of 59.7 in March from 68.0 in February, the Conference Board said.

Economists expected a small decline to 66.5.

The expectations index fell to 60.9 from 72.4, while the present situation index also fell, to 57.9 from 61.4.
