Dalton Flooring Firms Likely To See Utility Hikes

Dalton, GA, Oct. 21, 2009–Dalton utility costs will probably rise for carpet and flooring makers in the Dalton area next year.

Dalton Utilities president Don Cope told board members that the utilities continue to increase due to higher energy costs.

Next year’s budget calls for rate increases in electricity, water and wastewater between 9 and 15 percent.
