
Washington, DC, Nov. 26, 2014 — Durable-goods orders rose last month mostly due to military spending, the Commerce Department said.
Orders overall rose a seasonally adjusted 0.4% in October from a month earlier. However, excluding transportation, orders fell 0.9%, the biggest drop since December.
Economists had expected overall orders to fall 0.5%.
