Amsterdam, Holland, March 30, 2010–Dutch chemicals company Royal DSM NV said it will sell its fertilizer and melamine businesses to Egypt’s Orascom Construction Industries for $418 million.
Melamine is used in laminates for furniture and flooring.
DSM said it wants to focus on health-related products like nutritional supplements.
