Ethan Allen 4Q Earnings Up

Danbury CT, July 27, 2006– Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. on Thursday said its fiscal fourth-quarter income rose to $22.4 million, or 66 cents a share, from $19.5 million, or 56 cents, a year ago.

Sales for the three months ended June 30 increased to $272 million from $242.3 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson First Call, on average, forecast earnings of 62 cents a share on sales of $266.4 million.

For 2007, the Danbury, Conn., home furnishings retailer said earnings per share should grow 10% to 12%.
