Washington, DC, Nov. 19, 2012 — Home resales rose 2.1% in October to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.79 million, according to the National Association of Realtors.
September was revised down to 4.69 million.
Sales are up 10.9% from a year ago.
The median existing-home price rose 11.1% from last year to $178,600.
