Flavin Named Vice Chair of CRI Marketing Issues


Dalton, GA, March 26, 2009–Patricia Flavin, senior vice president of marketing for Beaulieu of America, has been named vice chair for the marketing issues committee of the Carpet and Rug Institute.

The two-year position is a stepping stone to the eventual top post of the committee.

Flavin is the first woman to hold a chair position in the history of the non-profit trade association started in the mid-1970’s. CRI represents 95% of all carpet made in the United States.

Flavin was part of the team that introduced the Bliss brand for Beaulieu at Surfaces in 2008.
