Florim Earns Two Environmental Certifications

Clarksville, TN, Jan. 25, 2011 — Florim Ceramiche has obtained environmental certifications ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 certifications from inspection association TÜV.

OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series) is an international benchmark for certifying a management system oriented towards health and safety in the workplace.

Florim is the first Italian ceramics company to obtain this award.

Florim said that is also purchased two new generation defibrillators, which will be made available to the internal accident and emergency team.
