Foreclosure Activity Hits Eight-Year Low

Irvine, CA, July 17, 2014 — Foreclosure activity hits its lowest level in eight years in June, according to tracking firm RealtyTrac.

The firm said 107,194 U.S. properties had a foreclosure filing in June.

“Over the next six to nine months, nationwide, foreclosure numbers should start to flat line at consistently historically normal levels,” said RealtyTrac’s Daren Blomquist in a press release.
