HB Fuller to Sell Automotive Joint Venture

Minneapolis, MN, October 9, 2007–H.B. Fuller Co. said it has agreed to sell its automotive joint venture to its main venture partner EMS Chemie Holding AG for $80 million in a move to focus on other businesses.

 

The company said it had the joint venture with Switzerland‘s EMS Chemie since 1997. It said the sale was expected to generate a net gain to pretax income of $10 million to $13 million.

 

The North American portion of the venture employs about 150 people and generated net revenue of $74.5 million in the last 12 months.
