
Washington, DC, July 22, 2014 — House prices rose 0.4% in May, the Federal Housing Finance Agency said. They are also up 5.5% from a year ago.
In addition, April’s price move was revised to show 0.1% growth from an initially estimated no change.
The FHFA house price index is based on mortgages bought or guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
