Housing Starts Fell in February

New York, NY, March 17, 2015—U.S. housing starts fell 17% in February to their lowest level in a year, likely due to harsh weather, according to the Commerce Department.

Starts dropped to a seasonally adjusted annual pace of 897,000 units, the lowest level since January 2014. This amounts to a 3.3% drop over February 2014.
