Washington, DC, Oct. 24, 2013 — The Bureau of Labor Statistics Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey shows that openings grew 1.8% in August from July.
The number was also up 9.5% from one year ago.
Nationally there were 3.88 million openings, up from 3.08 million the previous month.
