Kmart Names New Chief Marketing Officer

Troy, MI, Mar. 10–Kmart Holding Corp. named Paul Guyardo senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

In a press release Monday, the company said Guyardo was executive vice president, television and marketing, for HSN, a unit of InterActive Corp. Before joining HSN, Guyardo was a general manager with AT&T Corp. Kmart wasn’t immediately available to discuss Guyardo’s appointment.

Last May, Kmart emerged from federal bankruptcy protection after closing about 600 stores and cutting more than 50,000 employees during its reorganization.
