
New York, NY, Aug. 6, 2013 — The mortgage late-payment rate has fallen to the lowest level in five years, according to reporting agency Transunion.
The percentage of mortgage holders at least two months behind on their payments fell in the second quarter to 4.09 percent from 5.49 percent a year ago.
That’s the lowest level since the third quarter of 2008.
