Leading Carpet Mills to Raise Prices in Early January

Calhoun, GA, Dalton, GA, November 15, 2016—Engineered Floors, Mohawk Industries and Shaw Industries have all sent out customer letters announcing price increases of 1% to 5%, effective in the new year.

Engineered Floors announced an increase of 3% on all products.

Mohawk will increase prices on residential and commercial broadloom and modular products 3% to 5%.

Shaw Industries will raise prices by $0.18 to $0.72/square yard on all residential and commercial carpet products and will also increase freight charges by $0.02/square yard. In addition, Shaw will increase prices on hard surface flooring by 1% to 2%/square yard.
