New York, NY, Aug. 22, 2013 — The index of U.S. leading economic indicators rose in July, according to the Conference Board.
The Leading Economic Index gained 0.6% to 96.0 last month, after being unchanged June.
The improvement does suggest better economic and job growth in the second half of the year, said Ken Goldstein, an economist at the Conference Board.
